Floating Content in the leftcolumn

I have the div content and div style sheet as photo but it doesn't work. Could someone explain me why? Thank you in advance.

Thank you for providing a screenshot into your issue. Unfortunately, with this information, we’re a bit unsure exactly where you’re having the issue with the image itself. To better understand, are you on a Confluence server or cloud instance?

Along with this, are we having the issue while in the edit screen or when the page is published the CSS is not applying to your image?
