Flag up that a Date is Overdue?

Hello!

Do you know if its possible to receive an Alert from Confluence when a date added to a page has passed? 

I would like to put a Review Date on pages and have an Alert sent to notify me when that date is approaching/and has passed ie THIS IS NOW OVERDUE!

Would anyone know if thats possible and if so how I can do that?

I doubt it's feasible out-of-the-box, but third-party app Comala Document Control lets you do just that.

Thank you Dave, it appears there has been a lot of interest in having a feature like this for Confluence pages, to notify date expiry similar to JIRA tasks, would you know if there is anything in the pipeline to add in a feature to Confluence pages saving the need for an add on?

Well, there is Page status, would be happy to see the features of due dates and CQL added to it.
