Hi guys,
I have following issue:
There is a space with restricted access and I have users getting access via JSM.
I wanted to filter pages via labels for them, but I don't see any way to do this.
The advanced search only shows empty content for those users and the label URLs in form of: /wiki/label/Spacename/Label also don't show any content and sometimes even only give a 404 for these users.
I also tried to Filter by label macro on an extra page, but also this doesn't work.
Do you have any workaround or idea how to achieve content filtering for these kind of users?
best regards,
Martin
Welcome to the community.
Once a Confluence Space is connected to a JSM Project, it does not adhere to permissions or restrictions that you define in Confluence. It will be open to everyone who has site access.
You have one more alternative feature with labelling the pages, see to it that for the request type which you have used for connector, restrict the recommendation to other request type and that fixes the problem
Also see this KB article; https://support.atlassian.com/jira/kb/restricting-jsm-knowledge-base-articles-to-a-group-of-customers/
Thanks Marc for the link to this article.
I should have mentioned it.
The restricted users are already JSM customer as mentioned in this link. They have a full atlassian account, that I can administrator. I have set them to a certain group with makes them to JSM customers, so they are not JSM project only customers...
I will give it a try with the different restriction setting.
Thank you!
