Extend timeout limit for export confluence pages to Word

When exporting to Word a very big Confluence page (full of images and attachments), the export takes hours, and then the operation times out and the export fails.

Is there a way to extend the time-out threshold for the export-to-word to 3 hours?

We have a request open to let us increase the long running task time Ability to change the timeout threshold in the Confluence UI

In the meantime, it may help to make sure http compression is on:

1. Go to Confluence Administrator > General Configuration.
2. Click "Edit" button and uncheck the "Compress HTTP Responses".
3. Click "Save" button.

Yet another workaround may be to break the page into pieces and export each page separately.

You say : "make sure http compression is on"

and then : "uncheck the 'Compress HTTP Responses'"

So - the option should be checked or un-checked?

Oops! Copy/paste error on my part. We want compression on so the box should be checked.

Anyway - it was checked at the first place, meaning it did not help....
