Exporting to Word results in blurred images

When I export a page with inserted images to Word, the images are blurred.

What could be the reason for this?

Some members report that having the images in their original sizing may fix this. You can try expanding the images to their original sizes and generate a new export.

The images are already inserted in their original size. The "Original size" button is also already checked for all images.

Interestingly, a few images are normal and not blurred. On the whole page, however, all images are of the .png type and all of a similar size, without a specific border or similar.

This behavior is so weird. I don't see any open bugs for Confluence Cloud; maybe you can log a support request and find the core issue with an Atlassian team member.
