Exporting my data after the domain is terminated

Hi,

 

It seems the subdomain has been terminated and I have no longer access to it but I had lots of important information in Confluence and jira, is there way I can get the backup of my data? I need them for my business

Hi @Navid Ghahremani 

When is the last time you have used to Confluence instance and is this a free instance? As it depends how long the site is inactive, if this is over 60 days, your deactivated instance will be deleted permanently.

Are you the org admin of the instance and can you access the admin section of the instance on admin.atlassian.com?

Otherwise reach out to the instance admin or your IT department if this is a company site.

If you can't reach out to an admin or otherwise raise a support request via, Atlassian Support  (you need to be an admin to raise a request)

Hi @Navid Ghahremani 

If this is since Nov 2025, then your instance will have been terminated and deleted completely.

There will be no options to get your data back.

Depending on when exactly is was terminated, you might try to contact Atlassian support. Maybe they can still re-activate your site.

Your subscription has been deactivated
Hi Navid Ghahremani,
We're reaching out to let you know that your Confluence product, on site vaaj.atlassian.net, has been deactivated due to an extended period of not being used. You will no longer be able to access this product, and any data associated with this product will be permanently deleted soon. This does not affect any other products that you are actively using.
We’ve also cancelled all subscriptions to Atlassian apps, including those from Marketplace Partners.
