Export documentation to word, pictures missing

We use Confluence for system documentations and invested a lot of work creating all the pages. 

When exporting the documentations with all the sub-pages into word, we miss the most of the attached pictures. All we see is a placeholder, but not the actual picture itself. 

We even can export a single page and do get the same result. Also various plugins don't solve the problem.

What causes this problem and how can it be solved?

Hello @AXACOM

How many images are you exporting? You can't have more than 50 images per export (see CONFSERVER-34211). And which plugins did you try? I don't think Scroll Word Exporter for Confluence has this limitation, so you can give it a try.
