Expiry date for confluence cloud

Hey there, 

I would like to add some kind of "quality assurance" in our Confluence Cloud. That means I would like to add an expiry date to each side sending an message or an alert when a page has to be checked (like twice a year). 

Quite often I come along pages in our confluence which are not up to date anymore (and the author doesn't care about it). I'd like to remind him or her ;)

Do you know, is there a makro or a setting as solution for this? Otherwise I'd use the due date // date picker in combination with a workaround.

You can set up a precise expiry date to each page:

You can also do that for a complete tree of pages in one step (very handy in large Confluence spaces!) and even for a blog post.

Alternatively, if you don't want pages to expire on a precise date, but e.g. twice a year, you can set up a rule like "expire 6 months after its last edit".

Then you can send automatic notification emails to the selected users, groups, the last modifier or the owner of the pages. (Schedule and content of the mail can also be customized.)

You can set it up once with the Better Content Archiving app and then forget about it. The app will silently do its job in the background.

One idea could be to use a task button and mention the author in that with a due date set to however long after the most recent edit was that you'd like them to update.

Then if it was super important you could include it into a template to ensure all users remind themselves to update pages.
