Hi everyone,
we have a space section with two parent pages: “Customer Service Books”(1) and “Magazine Distribution” (2). On both parent pages, we use the Label List macro to display an alphabetical list of keywords.
The challenge is that on Customer Service Books, we do not want to display labels that belong to pages under Magazine Distribution. Unfortunately, the Label List macro only allows excluding labels, not entire pages or page trees.
Excluding labels is not a viable option for us, as there are many of them and new ones are added regularly. A live search macro is already in place, but the department explicitly wants a static, browseable keyword list.
Has anyone dealt with a similar use case before or found a workaround (e.g. via page structure, macros, or apps)?
Any ideas or best practices would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance 🙌
Tim
Hi, @Tim Jacobs,
As far as I'm understanding, you'd like to have a list of labels for a certain page tree.
Actually, while testing our app, I managed to achieve the result you may want. Here's a ready-to-use template. The solution can be customized, optimized and tailored to exactly meet your needs (except for Confluence Cloud limitations).
So, if you need any further help, please let me know!
