Error rendering macro 'adhocboard'

Hi - we're receiving the error message:

Error rendering macro 'adhocboard'

Body cannot be null

on a Confluence page using the Canvas macro.  It's always worked fine and suddenly is broken.  

I've tried restoring from previous versions, editing etc. with no luck.  The cards all seem to still exist, and the associated Confluence pages are still there.  Just cannot find a way to make the page display the cards in the columns.

Any ideas on how to resolve?
