Hello,
On one of our site's confluence page, I am receiving the error message below when attempting to add users with edit permissions.
Hello James,
Welcome to Atlassian Community. It's nice to meet you.
Could you confirm with me if this is the Cloud version of Confluence? If so, I think you might be running into the following bug:
According to the ticket, the workaround is as follows:
If you are the space admin:
- Go to Space Settings > Permissions > Restricted pages;
- Find the page you are looking for and click over the padlock icon;
- From the Page Information page, click over the ellipses (right top side of the page) and select Restrictions;
- Perform a dummy change and the page is editable again.
Note: Some customers are reporting that once you apply this workaround if you were to navigate to another page, and then go back to the affected page, you will find that you need to apply the workaround again in order to edit the page.
Can you have a look at that and let me know if it affects you and if you're able to get around it by applying the workaround?
Thank you!
Best regards,
Shannon
