Enforce comment in Change History in Confluence?

Is there a way to enforce comments in the Change History when updating a Confluence page?

As a software developer, I’m used to having detailed change logs. This would be very valuable for certain types of pages, with information on why it was change. Without a mechanism to enforce comments during updates, it’s easy to forget this step when clicking "Update."
