Good day to all and sundry,
I've been thinking about an alternate way to present long instructional sequences of text and images.
This is something I've done quite a bit, so far, for my employer, and I want to at least have the end user not feel that the page goes on and on and on...
A more obvious fix, and I've considered it, is splitting things into child pages more. Structurally, this won't always work, though.
Brain flash. PowerPoint! By the way, if you embed with the Office PowerPoint macro, only a version of your deck saved as PPT, not PPTX, will work properly. God bless our helpdesk for figuring this out.
But the size options for PPT and PDF, when inserted, are small and large. There's no specifying a number of pixels, as you can for still images.
And I know, just looking at it, that the max size won't work for what I need to do. So, does anyone know of a way to override this?
Thank you,

Hello Patrick,
I'm from Zoho Show team. Recently , we published our add-on Zoho Show for Confluence Cloud . With our add-on you can start creating presentations, edit and manage them , right away from your confluence space , using your Atlassian account.
The idea of conveying your ideas with more visuals is a great way to impress your audience indeed. I believe our add-on will be a one-stop solution for your versioning requirements with support for importing PPT and PPTX formats too.
We provide a rich set of smart elements, charts , beautiful animation and transition effects.
Here's our marketplace page. Give it a try and let us know your thoughts.

Hello Ms. Ramanthan,
Unfortunately, my employer is quite averse to Confluence plug-ins. And we are running the server version of Confluence, not the cloud one.
And honestly, your response seems like boilerplate sales text. You say nothing that addresses my concern, which was being able to override the maximum size for the Office PowerPoint macro.
Something else: There are numerous English errors in your response. This does not create a very positive impression for me, whose job it is to work with that same language every day.
Cordially,

Hello Patrick,
Sorry for the delayed response.
Understand your concerns and I learn that you're using Confluence Server version.
My response was solely for the cloud version. Here's a small clarification :
I mistook your mention of maximum size for Office Powerpoint Macro , as the file size. I, now understand , it was about the embed size. With our add-on for Confluence Cloud, there's no need to worry about the embed size of presentations. It goes along with Confluence editor's macro fit options - Centre , Wide and full width.
Thanks,
Lekha
