Embed self-hosted video in Confluence Cloud

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to embed a video we are hosting on our own servers into the knowledge base we are building for our service desk integration. We would prefer not to have to purchase extra macros from the marketplace.

We are using the cloud version of the software, so we cannot activate the html macro from Atlassian. 

We would also prefer not to be forced to rely on external services such as Youtube or Vimeo to do this. Is there any way at all to embed videos that unlicensed service desk customers can see when they view the knowledge base?

Welcome to Atlassian Community. It's great to have you. I would recommend using the iFrame Macro in order to display your hosted videos. You can use this to embed an iFrame in your page that will display your video.
