Editing Office files attached to a page - issue

Hi, I have an issue with editing Office files attached to a confluence page in Chrome. 

Due Office Connector Prerequisites it should be possible with my environment:

• My Office 17.10314.31700.0
• Google Chrome 67.0.3396.99 (64 bit)
• Windows 10

But when I click on "Edit in Office" beside the attachment browser shows error "Firefox or Internet Explorer is required to use this feature."

Internet Explorer works fine by the way.

How I can fix it with Chrome?

 It looks like this is a known issue and is being addressed in the following Feature Request:

• Editing attachments in Office fails with Google Chrome

Please watch the request to stay up to date on when the fix is rolled out. It looks like our product team is currently working on overhauling the feature. :)
