Edit Permission on a confluence site

I am not able to modify on a confluence site after "Edit" permission has been granted to me. Any advice?

Hi,

Do you have permission to the global space or is there just a "restriction" on the page which is given to you? 

There are 2 options for permissions:

• Space permission
• Page restriction
  • With page restriction, you can not overrule the space permission

+1 to this. If you have edit permission to a space, but can't edit a page, it typically means there is an edit restriction on the page. Permissions and restrictions provides a great overview of how these two access controls interact.
