Hi,
Is there a way to insert dynamic web links in Confluence server? Our use case: we link from Confluence to documents hosted in SharePoint Online. We would like the link to automatically update in Confluence if the document location changes in SharePoint.
There is a SharePoint connector plugin available that could work but I am new to Confluence and wanted to know if there was a less expensive/easier option for creating dynamic links.
Thanks!
This is actually a SharePoint issue - I believe you need to activate Document IDs in your SharePoint instance, then use the durable link that it generates.
BTW as Confluence is a wiki, it automatically tracks its own pages if they move or are renamed. It also provides a durable "Tiny Link", which can be via the page information.
Thanks. Will look into Document IDs in SharePoint and report back.
