Dot net 3.0 instalation issues on Win XP SP3 for mRemoteNG

I am trying to install on Win XP SP3, I download the dot net 3.0 install package and ran it it makes 5 attempts to complete the download gets to 27/50 Mb.  Then says it cant do it cause of an error and do I want to send an error report, so yes, and thats it.

Any one any ideas?

The program is great and I love using it, I am installing it for a customer who needs to RDP to a server.  For me on Win 8.1 its perfect.

I'd suggest asking this in a Windows / .Net / rRemoteNG forum.  

Or explain what it has to do with Confuence
