Does the Confluence search give you the total figures for pages you can and can't see?

Hi there,

I was recently asked to provide figures based on the total number of pages created last month. I used the search engine to filter Created Date Last Month and Type Page:

The results showed 1175. Does that number include or exclude pages I'm restricted to see? I need a way to provide accurate stats to our management team. 

We will be migrating to cloud soon, Does the same question apply to the cloud version of Confluence as well.

Hi @Martin Why use the search?  Confluence has analytics at the admin level, this report allows you to set dates and will gives you the ability to export the results to a csv file.  It will show newly created pages as well as some other metrics.

Hi Craig, thanks for your reply. The Analytics feature is only available with a Confluence Data Center licenses.
