Does anyone remember Breadcrumbs?

You know, these old friends at the top of every (Legacy) page:

I do! (So does Pepperidge Farms. :-)

Well, in the "new and simplified content layout" you may be wondering where they went:

So if you scroll down, you'll see them:

Slightly different layout, but ok, sure, they're there:

WELP what if your page is so short it doesn't scroll?

Kinda sucks. You can vote on it here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-81546

Oh yeah, uh the "release notes" for this change? I guess that would be here:

🎉 New collaboration features in Confluence Cloud!

Although the Redesigned header and menus section doesn't mention the breadcrumb change.

I guess the poor folks on Continuous Release Track were supposed to somehow figure out it was part of this change:

Atlassian Cloud changes Oct 6 to Oct 13, 2025 - "A new and evolved Confluence has arrived"

A new and evolved Confluence has arrived

[ROLLING OUT]

Confluence is evolving in a major way, and we’re bringing a wave of enhancements to improve the way you work! We’re enhancing the core experiences around navigation & organization, creation & editing, and collaboration & sharing.

(That is LITERALLY it. No link. No nothing.)

Those of us on Bundled Release Track didn't get much more in our monthly email:

A new and evolved Confluence has arrived

Confluence is evolving in a major way, and we’re bringing a wave of enhancements to improve the way you work! We’re enhancing the core experiences around navigation & organization, creation & editing, and collaboration & sharing.

(Seriously. Not even a link.)

So if you look in the Admin Console (Apps -> Release Management -> App Updates), there's a bit more information:

Why the links didn't make it into either set of "release notes" (if you can even call them that) is beyond me, but welp, I guess this proves SOMEBODY wrote some notes. Somewhere.

Boy oh boy, @Josh's post A Call for a Sanity-Saving, Consolidated Cloud Change Log for Admins 🙏  never rang truer.
