We get audited by several agencies and we need to make sure our support tickets which deal with things like employee access changes, creation, etc., don't get erased. We are supposed to be able to provide those for at least 2 years. I know it says online that you get 250 GB of storage with standard account but does that include tickets as well or is that just talking about attachments. If it is talking about attachments, that doesn't answer the question as to how long the actual service desk tickets are being retained.

tickets will not be erased. It would not make any sense to get your data deleted at a certain point in time by a cloud provider.
