Document version control

We are using Confluence Cloud and want to upload documents with version control.

How do I enable version control with Confluence Cloud?

Do we require an additional paid plug-in for this?

While Confluence provides the Page History, there isn't full version control.

For that, you can check out my teams' app Scroll Documents.
