We would like to implement a "wizard-like" page where someone would answer a series of questions and, based on those answers, we would display specific content or ship them off to a specific URL. A good example of similar functionality can be found in Google Forms and TypeForm.
For example:
Would you like to record?
Would you like to live stream?
Do you need MICs?
Do you need projection?
And then, if they said yes to one or more questions, confluence would display the instructions for each of those use-cases.
In the end, the logic is much more complicated than that, but looking for this type of functionality. Is this possible?
Hey Mike,
I looked into this some time ago and there weren't any add-ons in the Marketplace that provided this kind of functionality. What we ended up doing in that particular situation was embedding a Zingtree form into Confluence (just using the HTML macro). The ends of the tree took you to the Confluence page relevant for the scenario that had been walked through.
There are other decision tree software choices out there to take a look at. The big thing is that you'll probably want something that's easy to embed (using the HTML macro) so you can do work around it in Confluence.
Best of luck and I'm sure people will be appreciative of your work to narrow down their needs!
Cheers,
Daniel
Thanks so much Daniel! We'll look into Zingtree :)
