Can someone confirm to me that it's indeed impossible to disable this ?
How is this possible.
Admin now gets bombarded by requests from users to install apps.
How can it be that there 's no way to disable this ??
(This seems to be possible in the Server version.)
tia
Yes, I can confirm you are stuck with it on Cloud.

Disable user requests
The user request feature is enabled by default in Server and Data Center applications, but you can disable it for your application. You can't disable user requests in Atlassian Cloud.
Thanks !
That's what I found as well but I was hoping I missed something.
I suppose there's probably a xx-year old feature request floating around somewhere to address this.
I can't stand it, don't get me wrong, I do like the Atlassian products, but i HATE the clickbait.

Isn't it ridiculous that we cannot turn this off? I truly hope they implement a setting to disable users from requesting applications. Of course, we could deny requests if they're not approved, but having the ability to prevent requests from being submitted in the first place would be ideal.
