Different host and different subscription type

Hi everyone,

We are using Jira Software Server (250 users) and we would like to buy Confluence Cloud (50 users) and I have 2 questions about it:

1. Is it possible to connect Jira Software Server with Confluence Cloud even if they have a different hosting solution, Jira is self-hosted (Server licence) and Confluence is in Cloud (Cloud license)?

2. Is it possible to have a different payment subscription? In particular, we are paying Jira Software Server with an annual subscription and we would like to pay Confluence Cloud with a monthly subscription for the initial period.

Thank you all!

Gianni

Hi @Gianni Minicozzi

1. Is it possible to connect Jira Software Server with Confluence Cloud even if they have a different hosting solution, Jira is self-hosted (Server licence) and Confluence is in Cloud (Cloud license)?

Please refer to this below article you can set up Application links between Jira and Confluence: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/use-applinks-to-link-to-atlassian-products/

2. Is it possible to have a different payment subscription? In particular, we are paying Jira Software Server with an annual subscription and we would like to pay Confluence Cloud with a monthly subscription for the initial period.

Please note that you would need to raise a request with our Billing team to get a confirmation on the same.
