Hello colleagues,
We are currently looking solution (setting, tool, library, plugin, etc.) which gives the possibility to divide access for different Spaces in Confluence.
First, it will fine if one group of users doesn’t have access to the Space of Confluence.
Also, it necessary that another group of users has access to another Space by two-factor authorization.
I’d also appreciate it if you could help me with this issue?
Thank you in advance. I am looking forward to your reply!
Hello Alex,
Welcome to Community! It's great to meet you. I'm happy to help answer your question.
It's unclear from your message if you are on Confluence Server or Cloud, but I'll share the instructions for both.
Confluence Server
There's an add-on below that would allow you to have both an intranet and extranet in the same Confluence instance:
For Two-Factor Authentication, there are a few add-ons for that as well:
For Confluence Server, and our user management software, Crowd, we have the feature requests below to add this feature natively:
Confluence Cloud
If you are on Cloud, then the above add-ons are not available. However, unlike Server, there's a built-in two-factor authentication setup that you can use to force a specific organization to use two-factor authentication.
Lastly, to allow users to access a specific space in Confluence, and not other spaces:
You would be able to modify this in order to access more than one space but restrict other spaces.
Please take the time to review this, and do let us know if you have any questions about it.
