Deleted spaces still visible in Space Directory

Hello,

When I delete or move a (personal or generic) space in my Confluence environment (version 5.6.4), the space remains visible in the space directory (in it's original location). What's going on? Why do I keep seeing these spaces?

Hi Sandra

It could be an Indexing issue.

Do a reindex and check again afterwards if the Spaces still show sup.

Hello Niklas, we found the difference between the options "delete a page" (right menu) and "delete a space" via space admin. We used the delete option in the right menu and that deletes pages and not the entire space. Problem solved. Thanks.
