Hi All,

What's the reason for deleted pages to still show up in search a few minutes after deletion please? Are they kept in some cache or index?

Thanks

Hi Deshy,

Confluence do store cache of index in the <Conflunce-home>/index directory. So it possible that the index was not flush yet therefore the page still appear in the search. You can manually rebuild the index from Confluence Admin >> Content Indexing >> Rebuild.

Seriously? Is this the solution? Each time we delete a page, we have to rebuild the index from scratch? Isn't this a bug?
