I tried to delete a user on confluence that logged in and we just wanted to test it (it appears she played around and added some sample page which I now deleted already), but I can neither delete nor disable that user as she doesn't work on my project. I want to make sure I can manage the licenses we have available.
Also what do you recommend where I only want to allow 1 person to write content but others have access to the content without being counted against the limit.
What to do? tks!
Hi O,
are you an administrator of the Confluence server? Only site admins can disable or delete users. If you're a space administrator you can set the permissions on your space to only allow you to add or edit content.
You might want to check:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/delete-or-disable-users-138318.html
If you want only one person to edit/create content & all others are readers & the readers should not count against the license count, you have to configure your server to accept anonymous connections. No login is required. To configure this you must be site administrator of the Confluence server.

You were mentioning a project in your first post. Are we talking about Confluence or Jira? There are no projects in Confluence only spaces & pages. Please go to the bottom of any page in your browser. There should be a "Powered by..." notice. What version are you using?
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
And the version? It's written right behind the "Powered by..." at the bottom of each page, eg.
