How do I set 'default restrictions' (per user / group) to be automatically applied to every page being created in a space?

View permissions are inherited from parent to child. It means that restrictions are determined not only page itself, but also where it is placed into space,

So, you could create some parent pages with restrictions and all child ones will inherit it.

Thanks! This solves my problem then.

Note: it could be more explicit, tho. children pages could show their 'actual' restrictions considering the inherent parents' ones instead of showing their 'local' restriction which defaults to no-restriction.
