Date and total time duration

I am creating a few templates in Confluense Wiki and I want to be able to insert the date in a specific row with in a table.

I would also like to be able to calcualte the direction of time between 2 rows in a time (i.e. start time and end time to get a duration of how long that took)

Any insight on how I can do that ?
