Hi Team,
We would need help on below questions we are having:
1. What are the specific files, folders and data we need to synchronize from production server to a BCP server. Please do let me know the procedure to do so.
2. Whether the synchronization can be done overnight or on a real time basis. Please do provide us details to do so.
3. How to migrate all the documents, images, and data from an existing instance of confluence to another confluence instance.
Thanks
Assuming BCP is something to do with "Business Continuity" and not the more commonly used acronyms:
>What are the specific files, folders and data we need to synchronize from production server to a BCP server.
>Please do let me know the procedure to do so.
We can't answer that. It's up to you to decide how to do it on your hardware. Start with what your goal is, specify the hardware, connect up the network and then decide what methods that work with your setup you want to use to do the above.
>Whether the synchronization can be done overnight or on a real time basis.
Both
>Please do provide us details to do so.
Again, that's up to you and your systems. You could do a database dump regularly, and then rsync the files needed. You could do some of it with shared and/or replicated file systems. You could use database replication. You could look at Data Centre to see if that could cover your particular desires for your BCP. There's other options.
>How to migrate all the documents, images, and data from an existing instance of confluence to another confluence instance.
See https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/migrating-confluence-between-servers-184150.html - but bear in mind this is NOT for disaster recovery, it's for moving to another server.
Hello, Guru Anand!
The documents, images, and data that you need to copy depends on the method you are using to migrate servers. I would recommend reviewing the article thoroughly first, and if you have any questions, please let us know!

Shannon
