Edited the 'At beginning of the Body' option with on line on Confluence.  Space sites started flickering the wouldn't render content.  Confluence version 6.10.1

This is what we have in our site and it works.  We also have it placed in the at the end of the head field.  I think you just need to move your banner to the AT THE END OF THE HEAD field.
