Cross-Organization or Cross-Site Company Hub?

Hey all,

I led a session on the Company Hub recently and someone asked a great question - Is there any way to provide something like a company hub across Sites or Organizations?

I can't think of any way as Site typically are used to segregate users by location, department, etc.

The goal is to provide one home page for everyone at a company regardless of the Site or Organization they happen to be in.

Would love any answers or creative solutions!

@Rob Hean

The secret to creating a cross site/org company hub's alternative is to take Confluence content out of Confluence and control access outside of Confluence/Org seats.

I built a similar solution using Scroll Sites for Confluence by K15t taking advantage of the fact that you can build a Scroll site access to which is controlled by SSO. Which solves the issue for seats and seat overlaps. You don't have any because you operate outside for

For a multi site/org hubs, Space Sync for Confluence by Ricksoft ( @Victor Law - Ricksoft ) would take care in delivering synced content into a single space from which I would build the Scroll Site.

Disclaimer 1: I work for K15t :)

Disclaimer 2: Space Sync is an app I tested a lot, deployed in a couple of proofs of concepts, talked a lot about with the good folks of Ricksoft.

Hi @Rob Hean

In my experience working with enterprise organizations that manage multiple sites, one of the biggest challenges is maintaining content consistency without adding extra overhead.

A practical approach is to designate a single Master site or space as the main content hub, then synchronize that content across other sites. This allows teams from different departments or locations to manage their own spaces while staying aligned on company-wide announcements and shared resources.

Depending on your setup, this can be done through process governance, automation, or marketplace apps that support space synchronization.

To be clear, my team at Ricksoft develops Space Sync for Confluence, which is one option that mirrors content from a designated source space to target spaces/sites across DC and the Cloud environments.

Thank you.

Hi,

Out-of-the-box, there is no way to create a single Company Hub across multiple Atlassian Sites or Organizations. Company Hub works only within one site.

Possible workarounds:

  1. Create a central Confluence site and use it as the “global hub” for everyone.

  2. Share access to that site with all users across locations/orgs.

  3. Use a public or externally accessible Confluence page as a landing page.

  4. Add links from other sites pointing to this central hub.

  5. Alternatively, host a company intranet page outside Atlassian and link to each site from there.

In short: A true cross-site Company Hub isn’t supported yet — a shared central site or external intranet is the best practical solution.
