Creating a theme for Confluence

We are just introducing Confluence to our organisation and would like to set up a theme with our colours and styles etc.

Is there some simple way of styling confluence to match our company brand?

However I have to say, it doesn't sit well from a customer perspective to have to pay just to create a theme for your confluence site.   It seems like that should be built into the product!!!
