Creating a multi-page bookmark that auto syncs

Hello Confluence Gurus, 

I have the need to create and maintain a hierarchical document where the parent would have multiple items that needs to be referenced by the child page, and vice-versa. Additionally, the parent will also need to have reference to various child pages. 

Trying to manually map these correlations between child and parent is impossible to do and is prone to errors. 

Is there a way to accomplish this by using some sort of global bookmark repo that is applicable for the space?
