Creating a documentation request process

Jaime Monreal August 2, 2021

I am starting a knowledge base for our company and I want to create a document request submission process that feeds a queue where we can assign statuses to the document and track the statuses with visibility to our internal end users. Is there a way to do this within Confluence or do I have to use an external solution?

Two requirements:

  1. A place to submit documentation requests.
  2. Once a request is submitted, a place to manage the progress of the request.

@Jaime Monreal Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

We use Jira Service Management to manage our incoming requests and work.  I would suggest looking at the app Confiforms to keep everything in Confluence.  https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211860/confiforms-data-forms-workflows?tab=overview&hosting=cloud

@Brant Schroeder thanks for the prompt reply, I will look into the Jira Service Management and Confiforms options. Thanks!
