I used Confluence about 4 years ago on a project but not recently. I am on a trial version of Confluence for right now. Previously, I had been able to create tabs within the project that I was working on but I don't see it in the trial version. Is the ability to create tabs only in a paid versions of Confluence?
I suspect your old Confluence had one of the add-ons that enables tabs - navitabs or composition for example.
Okay--thank you

I was going to say much what @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- suggested, you likely had an add-on/plugin that gave you the tab functionality.
The trial version of the products are full products, though there is some differences in the built in functionality for Server vs Cloud products with was sort of macros come included. So for example, a macro that you might have had in Cloud, wouldn't come standard in Server. I am not as familiar with what comes with the base installs for the different Confluence platforms as I am with Jira, but I don't believe I have seen tabs as built in functionality in either platform.
There are a couple of vendors on the marketplace with Apps that will give you that additional functionality, if you need it.

Hi, Michael! Welcome to the community. I'm going to move your post to the Confluence collection, where I hope you can get a good answer from the experts there. Feel free to introduce yourself, too!
