Creating Cloud backup is not working

I have been trying to create Cloud backup for last 6 hours but it isnt working , just refreshes and doesnt do anything.
I tried backup without attachment too but same result. Please if anyone can help.
Using free tier and have backed up before multiple times

Hi @Aneesh Bhagat welcome to the Community!

I recently observe this kind of bugs for several users. It may be related with browser cache, with Rest limitations, timeouts or any open/recently resolved bugs in Backup Manager. I think the right thing here is opening a support ticket from here.

You can also check open bugs in Confluence Cloud in here.

@Brant Schroeder Unfortunately it´s a Bug Atm.

Please, not the generic answers here. If this worked before and then suddenly broke right after Atlassian rolled out CSM to a large number of instances, that does not look like a coincidence. I am seeing the same issue right now. It started at exactly the same time my instance got the new CSM.

@Salih Tuç  is right.

I was able to start the backup again this morning, so this definitely looks like some kind of bug.

I would suggest reviewing the documentation and ensuring that you are following the steps provided: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/create-a-site-backup/ 

If you are and it is still not working, I would suggest using a different browser and seeing if you get a different result.  Some backups can take a long time especially if you are backing up attachments.  You might try backing it up without attachments to see if it completes.

If you are unable to get it to work let me know if you are on a free plan.  If you are I can escalate your issue to support.
