Is it possible yet to create Synced Blocks via the API?
Create and use synced blocks | Confluence Cloud | Atlassian Support
I've managed to 'create' them, by trying to match the format of existing ones (even without specifying their UUIDs, but they do not sync/behave correctly.
Have you tried to create synced blocks in ADF format? My guess is that this method might work.
Hey guys,
Quick update - I chatted with support the other day, and we've created a feature request/suggestion around this: CONFCLOUD-84918: Ability to create synced blocks using API

Hi @Chuck Warren ,
As Marc said, ADF would potentially work here, but as synced blocks are a relatively new feature, I really cannot say 100% that this will do. 👀
I think synced blocks rely on specific internal UUIDs and backend registration that the API does not currently handle for new entries.
Anyway, there's also this request related to expanding API capabilities, although this macro isn't specifically listed there.
What you could probably do is to reach out to Atlassian Support and discuss it with them a bit. They should be able to provide some additional insights or potential workarounds you could use. 🤔
Cheers,
Tobi
