Couldn't bulk upload on Confluence page

I couldnt upload bulk file on "file" macro.

Is there any issue on Confluence??

Hi @Arima, Hiroaki/uma,

It looks like you are experiencing this bug: Not able to bulk upload files on File List Blueprint page Please comment or vote on the bug report - doing so will add you to notifications so you can follow the progress of the issue.

A workaround that was effective for me on my Cloud test instance was to go to Attachments on the page menu (... in the right corner) and choose the "attach more files" link.

I understand you couldn't upload multiple files to Confluence. Since you are asking us if there is any issue, I am assuming you use Confluence Cloud, is that correct?

Please let me know more:

• Is any error message displayed when the files will not upload?
• Does it matter what browser you use? 
• Does one file upload and the rest are ignored or do no files upload?
• What kind of files are they? (.pdf, .docx, .png etc?)
• Are they big files?
• Is it happening on a page / specific set of pages or in all of them?
• Does it matter which user tries to upload the files?

I look forward to having a closer look at the issue.

Yes im using Confluence Cloud.

  • i dont think so. on Chrome
• Does one file upload and the rest are ignored or do no files upload?
  • rest are ignored.
• What kind of files are they? (.pdf, .docx, .png etc?)
  • anything to upload.i tried PNG, PSD, PPT btw.
• Are they big files?
  • not big. less than 5MB
• Is it happening on a page / specific set of pages or in all of them?
  • It seems all of them
• Does it matter which user tries to upload the files?
  • some kind of PNG file, but whatever.

Could you explain what "couldn't upload" means?  What exactly are you doing and what is the response from the server?

Not really, "can't upload file" does not describe "I drag several files into an upload box and I simply get a spinner then it stops with no files added to it"

But the screen helps, I think you've hit a known bug - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-58643 - which you can work around by using the attachments option on the issue.
