Hi,
One of our users who works with Confluence frequently suddenly cannot copy a page or download attached files anymore. She was able to do so, but now in both cases the page shows a dark-grey layer on top of the page with a rotating 'busy' circle in the middle and that's it, nothing else happens. This strange behaviour is independent of the browser used (Firefox or Internet Explorer). Other users logged on to the same computer can work without problems.
This may not necessarily be a problem caused by the Atlassian software, however I have no idea where else I should search for a solution. Did you ever encounter a similar phenomenon? If yes, how did you solve it?
Thanks a lot for your help!
Best regards,
Holger
Is there any entry in the log for that event? This should give a clue. If not having access to the logs I would recommend checking all differences between this user and other that are able to copy the page. Can he copy other page on the same space or it is only related to only specific page? Please check if the user added the page as favorite or add a personal label, watch the space or this specific page that user want to copy.
Hi Mirek,
Good point! I started the Log analysator, it found two issues:
- After upgrading Confluence, you are unable to create new pages or spaces
- Document Contents Are Not Searchable
We'll follow the recommendations and check whether they fix the issues.
Thanks,
Holger

Hi Mirek,
We had a close look at the results of the Confluence log analysator. The issues it found had already been fixed earlier or are not directly related to our issues.
Do you have any other ideas? The user I mentioned is not able to copy any page on the same space, although she could copy pages before. Her access privileges were not changed. Access to these pages are not restricted in any way.
Thanks,
Holger
