I've created a parent page containing:
Definition 1
Excerpt definition 1
Definition 2
Excerpt definition 2
...
Definition n
Excerpt definition n
For the first 4 definitions the content on my published page is shown but for the next 20 or so definitions the content of the excerpt is not shown.
When I open the page in edit mode I can see to Excerpt's content of all the definitions.
On the child pages where I've used the "Excerpt Include" the content is correctly shown.
Can someone assist in finding the cause of the issue described.
It sounds like you might be hitting a rendering or content limit on the parent page. Since the first few excerpts show but the rest don’t, try these:
Content limit: Some Confluence pages have a max rendering size.
Broken macro: One faulty Excerpt Include may block others.
Permissions: Make sure all source pages are viewable.
Cache: Try incognito mode or clear your browser cache.
Hope that helps! Also, click here to check out something useful.
Some users notice that the content excerpt's not all displayed on the parent page, which can affect how much information visitors see at first glance. This often happens due to theme limitations or incorrect excerpt settings in WordPress. While troubleshooting such technical issues, many people also seek spiritual routines for balance—like wondering, how many times should I recite Surah Yaseen a day?

Some users have noticed that the content excerpt is not fully displayed on the parent page, which can confuse visitors looking for a quick overview. This issue may be due to theme settings or content length limits that need adjustment in the website’s backend.
