I have created a new Jira db on an MSSQL Server running different version of SQL. In this case, I need to connect Jira to <servername>\SQL2016SE as the server is also running SQL2014SE and the default server is the 2012 server.
The Confluence setup requests which instance you want to connect to, so I connected to SQL2016SE with no problems in Confluence.
Is this possible with Jira?
