Hi,

Today we use confluence cloud and we need to activate SSO via OKTA.

But to do so we must verify the user domain, this is not possible for us.

the question is, if we will use confluence server, will we also need to verify domain for our users?

Thanks

Lina

Hi Lina,

no that is not necessary on server. There is much more flexibility.

However, SAML Support doesn’t come out of the Box on Server. You’ll need an additional plugin to do that.

Here is an example of what’s available in the marketplace: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?query=SAML%20

Full disclosure: I work for resolution a marketplace vendor and the first search result.

Cheers,

     Chris
