Confluene 3.5.1 is stuck in Setup.

I installed Confluence and started the setup procedure. When I pasted the evaluation license it hung. I then uninstalled and installed again. This time when I start the setup procedure it gets stuck at the License step and displays "Set up step error".

I'm guessing I need to delete something manually from disk or the registry. Oh, this is on Windows 7.

Thanks for your help. I was able to solve this by uninstalling again but this time manually deleting the Application Data directory and it's contents.

Hi William,

Did you check your log files? They might give you the answer you are looking for.

Also, why are you installing such an old version of Confluence?
