Confluence won't start after upgrade

neurostatus-uhbs July 2, 2019

I've upgraded Confluence from v. 6.7.1 to 6.15.2 and now Confluence won't start.

It started locally on the server after the upgrade. I stopped the service to update the server.xml file and restarted the service, but when trying to open confluence from web browser (though the reverse proxy) I get the following error:

Proxy Error

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /.

Reason: Error reading from remote server

Jira and Bitbucket are working fine. Did I miss any changes that should have been done to the reverse proxy config file? I didn't delete the Confluence service and reinstall it as it said on the "Upgrading Confluence" instructions, since I didn't know how to do it. Could this be the problem?

I restartet the Apache Service and now it works :-) Didn't try that before because Jira and Bitbucket worked. Issue can be closed, thank you very much!
