Confluence taking forever to Save/Publish

I keep having issues trying to save longer pages in Confluence. I tried removing images, copying text into plain text and removing links and still having issues. I was able to save more text when I copied the string from Jira to Notepad and then into Confluence, and I thought that would do the trick (despite being painfully time consuming) however, It doesn't seem to have helped as I'm trying to publish a page of 885 characters and the save is still in process after several minutes. 

Are there page limit constrictions? I'm trying to move over user stories into Confluence for requirements gathering and this will be a nightmare if a page can only hold a paragraph of text.

I am having the same issue.  I already tried other browsers but same issue.  Do you have other ideas to fix?

Try running it in incognito mode and see if that works. If that works, most likely there's a plugin or browser's extension on your browser that causes the issue. Try turning off one plugin at a time and then try again to see which plugin is causing the issue

Or you can simply try on a different browser.
