Confluence path changed in server.xml, but create space still redirect to ROOT URL

Changed path in server.xml

path="/confluence"

I am able to login via https://sce1.domain.com:18090/confluence

When Create Space, it redirect to and show "The webpage cannot be found"

https://sce1.domain.com:18090/spaces/createspace.action

How to fix it?

Can you check your base url? https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Configuring+the+Server+Base+URL

Why we have to configure it at 2 places? Can we simplify it in future release?

Hi Dixon,

Allow myself to answer that question, the server.xml file that we edit, is just to run the application, and the BaseURL is to say to Confluence that he should use that URL to access page, communicate with UPM, to talk with the internet...

I hope this clarifies your thoughts.
