I was working on a page and upon publishing it reverted to the skeleton I had started working on. All the information is gone. How can I retrieve it back?

Depends on how the reversion was done. 

Confluence save a draft every couple of minutes, so you could try closing the browser window, going back in in a new one and looking under your profile for drafts.

Could someone have deleted it from the space while you were editing?

Have you any older versions of it?

Was there an error during publishing?
